turquoise loop comprises of "holistic consciousness activists” satyam brown (vox, bass) and karun cowper (guitar, production). their music is offered as a psychotropic salve for the deep psychological distress endured in our tumultuous times.

taking inspiration from great universal, progressive and holistic minds such as Noam Chomsky, PR Sarkar and Vasudeva Barnao, their music is transmitted from beyond the filter of the everyday clamour, "the matrix" to which we are all daily subjected.

common practice in psychiatric wards is the painting of walls a turquoise colour which has been scientifically demonstrated to calm the disturbed mind. similarly "turquoise loops" are scientifically (fractal chaos) concocted through extemporised sessions and distributed for the inoculation of the collective mind.

karun was born and bred in the most isolated city in the Universe in a very ordinary fashion and, whilst not noticed by all, he did demonstrate many odd tendencies and certain potencies which slowly came to the fore. satyam was raised by tigers in melbourne and after many mind altering experiences in and out of the melbourne music scene in a variety of different bands, he eventually packed his bags and hit the east coast hippy trail with a rather attractive perth girl he had met.

after many travel adventures with his lass, satyam arrived in perth to form a strong friendship with karun during their study and mutual involvement in various holistic consciousness activism projects. at this stage their respective delusions of grandeur began to get out of control with each adding quite unnecessary fuel to the fires of each others schemes of global dominion.

years later they ended up living on the same street in the bush of perth's outer northern suburbs. that street was (and is) named "turquoise loop".

many factors converged such as; good vibrations from the pristine bush environment, a surrounding community of like-minded souls, solar-passive design, proximity, stunning advances in music technology and not least of all the realisation of a common musical dream and goal.

thus it was arranged, the God's conspired and turquoise loop was and is....
